Lin Van Craenenbroeck
is a Belgian born artist, who moved to Raglan, NZ in August 2006. Being a professional window-dresser for 15 years, she's always been fascinated by bringing colors, shapes and different materials together.
Inspired by Spanish artist Gaudi and being like a creative volcano herself, ready to erupt, she decided to explore the wonders and possibilities of the art of mosaic.
Excited by the elements of nature, she combines recycled treasures like old china together with ceramic tiles and creates a colourful unique style.
Grandfather being a dressmaker and having a creative mother, she discovered that mosaic-art is not only about ceramic pieces. So mosaic-style wearable art was born.
